Challenge

Solution
TechlyCodes Implemented an intuitive UI enhancement that injects an ‘Approve & Process’ facility right alongside each Sales Order. All it takes is triggering this button to activate the automated process:<< Approval of Sales Order, checking item availability, creation of Cash Sale and Item Fulfillment records, and notifiying the customers with confimation email is all automatic and does not touch operator hands at any stage.
Results
The introduction of this automation reduced ordering processing time from 10-15 minutes to less than 2 minutes without loss of consistency, accuracy, and audit transparency. The DHS operators are no more forced to make more accurate orders handling with minimum physical strain.
2. Cash Sale Email Automation
Challenge
There were delays in sending customers their Cash Sell confirmations via email before this solution was implemented, leading to complaint calls and lack of confidence.
Solution
TechlyCodes now sends automated transactional emails upon the creation of a Cash Sale. Now, the emails reflect a professionally formatted PDF of the transaction, that has been generated automatically by NetSuite’s rendering capabilities.

3. Cash Refund Customization
Challenge
DHS had established special rules for Cash Refunds management within the system. NetSuite out-of-the-box decreases inventory when issuing refunds negatively impacting inventory accuracy.
Solution
TechlyCodes created a smart customization: When issuing a Cash Refund from a Cash Sale attached to a Sales Order, the quantities for items are set to zero, but the financial amount of the refund is conserved.

4. Real-Time Tracking Sync with BigCommerce
Challenge
DHS wanted a direct real-time link between the tracking of their shipment system and BigCommerce’s system. The lack of a sandbox inside BigCommerce had problems because production without testing created tremendous levels of risk.
Solution
TechlyCodes established an automated advanced procedure to obtain originating information from adequate orders and push it to the related connected BigCommerce order in real time via a secure API link. Optimally, this solution addresses full and partial shipments, along with split deliveries.
